Meet Waatani

Waatani Norris, a certified expert in over a dozen hair extension techniques including Hairdreams, Great Length's Ultrasonic Cold Fusion, Hot Heads and more, gained national recognition as a platform artist and educator for Hairdreams. His skills landed him opportunities to do hair extensions for contestants on America's Next Top Model and expand his hairstyles into runway shows, magazines, and television.

Expressing interest in product development, Waatani was introduced to a mechanical engineer, Yuval, by Jonathan, founder of SKLZ. Yuval's focus on low-cost, simple inventions ignited Waatani's innovative spirit and desire to create. Fifteen years later, Waatani met Autumn at Salon Republic who generously shared a unique extension technique. This sparked a collaborative effort that redefines hair extensions.

After learning and integrating Autumn's technique, Waatani returned with a totally enhanced version, naming it after Autumn's studio: GlamLocks Sewn In. Their partnership flourished as they refined and taught it, but they aspired for something more groundbreaking. Autumn's relentless drive spurred Waatani's passion to elevate their creation. Together, they developed GlamLocks GL7, a revolutionary 7-in-1 hair extension system.

Born from Autumn's resourcefulness, determination, and savvy custom color blending and Waatani's vision, expertise, creativity, and attention to detail, the patented GL7 transcends traditional hair extensions. It serves as a testament to their perfect fusion of innovation and action, offering 7 interchangeable methods with a single hair type. It is a groundbreaking advancement in the world of hair extensions.
